Excellent English breakfast options. Lovely sized rooms in this traditional hotel. Amazing location right in the city center, in the downtown area.

The hotel was comfortable and absolutely fabulous in general, had NICE staff on the reception desk. The room was big, and we had a perfect view of the river. Comprehensive breakfast, it was included. The property was in a very central location in the center of Bristol. We recommend this hotel, spent here very comfortable 2 nights.

The room was luxurious, with comfortable bedding and good toiletries. The attentive staff provided excellent service and even fulfilled specific room service requests with accuracy. The location was convenient, just a short stroll from various attractions. Navigating the parking structure can be challenging due to tight spaces, especially for larger vehicles.

We had an excellent christmas with sensational breakfast. The room was airy and exceptional, included with an extra £60, the flowers, for instance. The location of the hotel was magnificent and best possible - not too far from a multimillion-pound shopping centre.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, nice and large. We had interconnected rooms with the extra bed that we had requested - everything as promised. The breakfast was good. The children loved the swimming pool! The location was also good - close to Bristol city centre and within walking distance from Clifton. Parking was also easy in the hotels garage.

colour of the paint in the corridors and location of the hotel.
first thing I didn't like was that as soon as we got to the room we discovered that it didn't have a fridge, we went down to reception and concierge kindly told us that they had removed them from the rooms, so the first negative point was that there was no cold water in the room. Second problem, breakfast indicated that it was served from 07. 00 to 11. 00 at 09. 30 and there were no pastries and most serious thing, there was no butter or fruit. Besides, to make the breakfast more complicated, everything that came out of the "coffee" or "tea" was EXTRA CHARGE, they wanted to charge me 5 Pounds for a "Hot Chocolate" or "Nesquick", it is supposed to be a full breakfast included in the price of the room that is not at all economical and in a 4 stars hotel. To finish the 4 elevators that the building that housed the majestic hotel had 2 were "OUT OF ORDER", because what you can imagine the wait in the hall. Anyway, Hotel Director and CEO of Marriott Hotels worldwide should make you look at it, highly disappointed with the stay in this hotel.

It was even better than our last visit to a different hotel in bristol. The location was perfect for exploring local attractions, and the breakfast variety, especially the fresh pastries, was awesome.
the air conditioning was ineffective.

location was very great - easy to walk everywhere we wanted to see in Bristol. The hotel was very good in general - I have stayed at a lot worse places and paid a lot more to do so.

The Hotel is very well located in the City Center: close to the main attractions, pubs and restaurants. The Staff is kind and usefull. The room is large and confortable.
We booked a non smoking room. Unfortunately the previous guest smoked in the bathroom and it was still smelling. It is quite strange that the house-keeping did not notice and sort it out before our arrival.

Family with children great for a nice break
Had a good breakfast-the quality of food was excellent. The staff was super friendly, especially Kim at check-in.
It wasn't cheap, but it was still acceptable.
